Questions

Does it work with Jira Server or Data Center?

No. Ticketpane is for Jira Cloud (anything at *.atlassian.net). Server and Data Center use different auth and are not supported.

How does sign-in work?

You create an Atlassian API token (one page, takes a minute) and paste it once. Ticketpane stores it in your editor's encrypted secret storage and uses it for every request. There is nothing to re-authorize.

Where does my data go?

From your editor straight to your Jira site over HTTPS. Ticketpane has no server. The only outside call is a license check to Polar when you activate Pro. Error reports are off unless you turn them on.

Does it work in Cursor and Windsurf?

Yes. Both read the Open VSX registry, where Ticketpane is published alongside the VS Code Marketplace.

Is one license one person?

One license activates on up to 3 machines for one developer. Teams: buy one per developer.
